Drew Martin
Executive Director/Teacher
Drew was born and
raised in Spartanburg an is a 1998 graduate of Spartanburg High School. During his senior year at SHS Drew participated
in the inaugural year of SCBEST classes which had a profound influence on his faith. After graduation Drew attended Duke University
on a football scholarship and earned a degree in religion. He then moved to Wilmore, KY where he earned a Masters of Divinity
and a Masters of the arts in Pastorial Counseiling from Asbury Theological Seminary as well as a Masters in Education
from Asbury College. During this time he served as the Campus Director of Athletes in Action at Asbury College. In addition
to serving as Executive Director Drew also teaches the BEST class at Spartanburg High School.

Grace
Martin Administrative Assistant/Teacher
Grace is orginally from Summerville, S.C., but came to the
Upstate to attend North Greenville University. She graduated from NGU in 2003 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies(mixed
between Counseling and Education). After her Sophomore year Grace took a year off from college and worked as an undercover
missionary teaching English in China. Through her college experience she had numerous meaningful ministry opportunities including:
NGU's Summer Impact team, intern at First Baptist of Spartanburg, SeaSalt summer camp, Centrifuge, and various positions
in NGU's spiritual life department. Grace serves as the administrative assistant and teaches the BEST classes at Fairforest
Middle School and McCracken Junior High School.

William
Kuster Teacher
William is originally from the Detroit area in Michigan. His desire to study the Bible
led him to Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated with the double-major of Koine Greek and Biblical
Studies. After studying Classical Hebrew in Israel, William went to the University of Edinburgh (Scotland) where he earned
a Masters of Theology in Biblical Studies. His passion is to try to daily live out Jesus’ command to his disciples,
‘go make disciples ... teach them all that I commanded you’. He teaches at Broome and Dorman High Schools.

Megan Brown Teacher
Megan is originally from the Williamsburg, Virginia area and felt called to ministry in the summer of 2000. In obedience
to her calling, she moved to Boiling Springs, North Carolina in the fall of 2002 to pursue a degree in Religious Education
with a minor in Spanish from Gardner-Webb University. After graduating from GWU in the fall of 2005 she then began working
toward a Master of Divinity in Christian Education at the M. Christopher White School of Divinity at GWU. Megan had numerous
ministry opportunities throughout her educational endeavors including: leading small groups, volunteering and interning at
various churches, working with GWU Campus Ministries, and traveling to Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. Megan teaches the SCBEST
classes at Dawkins Middle School.

Lucy
Sizemore Teacher
Lucy is a Spartanburg native who graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate
with a Bachelor of Arts in English. As a member of First Baptist Spartanburg, she has been teaching and leading discipleship
groups for over seven years. She serves as a Family Group Leader and Cabin Counselor at Camp Voyager, hosted by First Baptist
Spartanburg. As a qualified Precept Leader, she uses her training to equip her students with Truth. Lucy
is passionate about preparing young people for life, instructing them through the Bible, and educating them on how to rely
on God’s Word as their true source of strength and knowledge. She teaches the BEST classes at
Gable Middle School, and also works with her husband Steve at His Bannerz & More. She has
two step-sons, Taylor and Corey.

Cayli Clemmons Teacher
Cayli is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public
Relations and Religious Studies and minored in Spanish. She is a native of Waynesville, NC (God’s country). Cayli has
been involved in youth ministry in various settings, including leading Disciple Now weekend retreats, small groups, and serving
as a summer youth intern at Waynesville First Baptist. She is excited to be ministering with SCBEST and teaching the students
at Carver and Whitlock Junior High Schools.
